When Max was Emperor: Musical Splendor for the Holy Roman Court

Our first full concert of the season explores early Renaissance music from the courts of Maximilian I, Holy Roman Emperor from 1508-1519. He was an ardent supporter of the arts and his royal court reflected his interests, with music by Isaac, Senfl, and others, for voices and Renaissance orchestra.

The venue for both performances is Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 2111 Alexander Avenue, Austin, TX 78722. See map below.
